Women Make Movies is a non-profit media arts organization based in New York City. Established first in 1969 as a production arm of the Women's Liberation Movement. These films address such subjects as reproductive rights, AIDS, body image, economic development, racism, immigration, medical ethics, and global feminism. The collection includes films by noted filmmakers including Jane Campion and Kim Longinotto.
